I tried one of the modded BIOS files to OC my i5-6500. I cannot go over a base frequency of 102.7Mhz, after which it crashes. I flashed a new BIOS file a couple of years ago, a newer version from 2017, but the modded BIOS file is from 2015 and the motherboard won't accept an older BIOS file. Does anyone know any newer modded BIOS files for the ASUS Z170-P DDR4 motherboard? I would be very grateful.
