Just built my first gaming rig and after a few days in began to have and error where it blackscreened and brought my cursor to the center anytime I try to use file explorer, task manager, or close a program. I believe its the graphics card as I've tried switching monitors and display cables but nothing changes. Sometimes i get a good boot where it doesn't blackscreen but these are rare.

Howdy and welcome :)

there are a few things that could do this but the GPU is one.  One that is really common is the wrong driver or incorrectly uninstalled old driver.  Bunch of stuff really.  Complete system specs could help.  There’s a form of the kind of information needed for such things in the troubleshooting section.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

The reason for the crazy psu is because I've purchased a few corsair products and they haven't performed the best or at all so I swapped out the rm850x I had before, also due to my fathers distrust of modular power supplies.
