Hello!
On my newly bought MSI X570 MEG GODLIKE mobo, the Debug Code LED stops working after a while. Some day it takes many hours, and some days I start the PC and it gets disabled after just 2-3 hours.

The red diod and white diod for the CPU_FAN 1, and SYS_FAN_1 also gets disabled at the same time as the Debug Code LED.
Any ideas why? Is it something in Dragon Center that does it? I have tried to start my various programs on the PC to see if any of those gets in the way with the debug and fan led's, but no luck so far!

Appreciate any help at all! Maybe someone more then me have this problem?
Thanks!

The Debug is working normally.

00 is generally unused and indication of normal operation.

35 is Cpu post memory initialization. BSP or Boot strap processor selection. (probably memory training. **guessing here, as these are post codes not beep codes. Beep codes are direct error indicators.)

The system fan led's are Red PWM mode White DC mode. Not sure why they stop illuminating though. Not super familiar with MSI boards honestly.

Thanks for the reply! And the color of the LED was info I didn't know. Thanks!
The 35 is CPU temp I think. It adds up to the temp shown in Core temp at least.

The problem is weird, but not causing any instability so far at least. I just have to restart the PC and everything is OK again, until it happens the next time of course.

It's not the temp. The temp is next to it to the left.

That is for sure a post code, not exactly an error code.

You could plug in the little mother board speaker and see if it does give beep codes when stuck on 35. Might give you a better lead on the issue.

Is this stopping at post code 35 and then no display??

Not sure on the God Like but some MSI boards have a hard switch on the actual board that turns off board LED's. Usually by one of the RGB headers.

May have got knocked accidently?

I am pretty sure I have been very careful with it. I can play a game for a while, and all of a sudden, the LED screen have turned to ''00'' code and the LED light for the fan headers have stopped lighting up.

Seems weird :S

Hello again

I am fairly certain that the screen is showing CPU temp, not post / error code.

Here is a clip showing that, it's on this very computer:

Maybe if it has something to do with the ''program'' scanning and showing that CPU temp crashing or shuting down somehow?

Maybe then the program shows 00 instead? But still weird that the FAN Header LED is going out also then :S

Well you didnt answer my question.

The post codes are during post.

I asked if the system was hanging on this code because that's what a debug display is for.

The temps are after the system is running and you can probably turn this feature on and off in the bios.

To clarify, the issue is it stops displaying the temp? Or is it something else.

I'm more helpful for diagnosing post issues over the temp monitoring system. This may depend on the software for the motherboard then maybe.

No the system is not stuck on any post code during bootup.

Yea the issue is that it looses the ability to display the temps during normal operation / gaming.

It just shows ''00'' and FAN header LED is off, and the second before it showed the temp as normal and the FAN header LED was on as normal.

I wonder if it's conflicting software? How does it do with OC programs disabled during winders start up?
