VPN Causing Twitch ban

So I have been using PIA for a few months now and for some reason on some parts of twitch when I load teh page I get a screen telling me I have been banned, but I'm not. I can still watch and cheat and get to channels through the following menu. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem and if anyone knows a fix.

When I use a VPN it says im banned on a few sites. Not much you can do about it. I guess if someone got an IP ban on the same VPN provider as you then that would restrict your access also

Yet another downside to using a VPN service like that.

 

People use VPNs to do dumb shit, so you will find that a lot of places block/ban the ip ranges that are used by or registered to VPN services.

I just thought it was weird that it doesn't ban me from the whole site just like peoples channels.

All that means is that someone got the IP of the VPN banned. It may be a location lock, but if you are using the same VPN or Proxy as 150 other people and one of you gets banned on Twitch all 150 people will be banned from twitch because twitch uses an IP based blocking service.
