Yea if you couldn't get the mx500 or the a2000, then yea it's a decent list.

Current specs:

Memory: Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

PS: Corsair CP-9020101-UK CX450M 450W

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650 Super

Casehttps://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BLI5158/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

CPU Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooling System

I will be building a PC with these specs, but do not know a motherboard that would be compatible, I am looking for something under €100, any ideas?

For a Ryzen 7 3800X, you're going to want a motherboard with decent VRMs, so I'd recommend something a bit more expensive than €100, like this MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

Or the b550m pro vdh, if you can find it.

Though workload? Because if you're just gaming, a 3600 and a better GPU will be a way better choice.

Also budget for the build in general?

Workload? But if it's just gaming..

something like this, as for the case, you could go with the p300a or the p400a or the focus g to name some, and those are quite decent.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

This would be my first build too, so with these specs do you think it would be much of a challenge? I could get that with its price, absolutely fine, and I am sure it would run smooth for gaming and other stuff.

For a gaming PC using new components you need to be looking at 30 to 40% of your budget on a GPU. The 1650 isn't great value anyway, from that series I would be looking at 1660 super minimum.

There are bargains out there on second hand stuff but the usual caveat emptor applies.

Are you aiming for 1080 or 1440p?

Yes, it is, but I rather keep most parts ordered from amazon, so would you say the one I mentioned above, would be good, I can upgrade if needed, even just the graphics card to the one you specified if you think that would be better!

The psu i listed above is a lot better, the 1660ti is a waste of money over the 1660 super, since they perform essentially the same. the a2000 is decent.   is that a single stick? if so, you're effectively cutting your bandwidth in half and it will perform noticeably worse,  And the 3600 x is a waste of money, the board is decent.

Right, so I can get the PSU you mentioned no problem, I will also get 2 sticks, was going to anyways. What do you recommend instead of 3600X, I don't want to be spending much more that it for something else.

the non x, the x variant is a waste of money unless it's similarly/ the same price.

the a2000 is decent and again, the 1660ti is around 50 bucks more but performs about the same as a 1660 super.

as for the case, it looks like it has no airflow whatsoever, and the focus g is decent.

You could as i said, get a 1660 super as they perform about the same and the 1660 super is cheaper, unless it's not available and/or costs the same, and you could go with a better case, as for the drive  it's a dramless drive, if you need a budget drive, something like the mx500 is decent.

Alright, if you could suggest a case that would fit this build, preferably under 70 if possible, then please do!
