Choosing ram for x370 Mobo

Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade to 32gb of ram because 8 isn't cutting it anymore.

I have an Asus rog strix x370-f gaming and a ryzen 7 1700.
I just want a set of ram that is reliable.

I've been looking at these 2 options

Both look pretty sweet and run at 3200 MHz

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Honestly, I would go for AMD certified ram from G-Skill.  I am currently using Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 32GB 2 x 16.  I was lucky to get it working at full speed.  I previously had Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 32GB 2 x 16 and it did not work at full speed.  I had to run the 3600 kit at 3000.  Corsair Vengeance LPX is not certified for AMD.  I have heard many other people complaining about Corsair ram for AMD systems.

This model of corsair vengeance rgb pro says AND Optimized Memory. Its different from the other Corsair Vengeance rgb pro model.

Both of these ram were on my motherboard ram supported list, although I don't know if that means everything.

 

Also the reviews for the crucial ram were incredibly high, and people said it reached high speeds.

After reviewing the motherboard ram compatibility I realized that the crucial ram is not compatible.

I looked around for a Gskill kit but couldn't find a 16gb x 2 that went up to 3000or 3200 mhz 

I found 2 Kingston hyper x models that go 3200 and 3000.
I prefer 16x2 but 8x4 is still viable, I just like the option to add in more in the future by having larger ram.

I would go for the HyperX Ram if it is AMD certified.  Then, you can add two more sticks of Ram in the future.

That's what I wanted to do but I don't think the 16x2 is compatible according to the motherboard ram manual, I only saw 8x4 but I wanted to be able to add 2 more ram later one by having 16x2

 

I ended up going with the corsair rgb pro a few weeks ago and it's running good at 3200.
