Simple Screen Recprder is not stating anymore, no idea why, no changes. I use Kazam in Mint, but Solus has a deferent package sus, si no apt-get.

OBS is noy starting also. https://itsfoss.com/kazam-screen-recorder/ was good in Mint, surely there is a way to get the binery downloaded in Solus.
