my ryzen 5 3600 used to hit single core max speed of about 4.1 ghz when i used an old 8gb 2133 ram while running cinebench r20

but ever since i upgraded it to a 16 gb 3000mhz ram (currently running at 2666. not yet xmp'ed to 3000) my cpu cannot even cross 3.85 ghz single core max speed. is there any reason to such loss of performance?
