bottleneck?

I have built my first budget gaming rig and i was wondering if anything was being bottlenected by something.

Specs:

Cpu-amd phenom ii x6 1045t

Ram-8gig vengance 1600

Gpu xfx radeon 7850 2gb

Psu 500watt thermaltake

Mobo- some gigabyte motherboard

Im only really worried about any bottleneck between the cpu and gpu

there might be a very small bottle neck.

what speed is your cpu? did you do any overclocking on it? it might help reduce the bottleneck.

but i doubt you will notice if there is a bottleneck.

Sounds fine to me..

If it were a 79xx you might see a slight bottleneck, but even then it would be slight, noticeable, but slight.

If I remember your cpu is clocked at 2.7ghz

 

If im correct then you may experience a bottleneck in some games that are not heavily multithreaded.

If i was in your position i would want to overclock a little.

You shouldn't only be conserned by CPU to GPU bottlenecks only. I would be concerned about CPU to RAM to HDD to GPU for a better result.

I forgot to mention it is overclocked from 2.7 to 3.0ghz. And thanks for the responces so quickly!

Your ram might affect your performance because in AMD systems having faster ram gives you better performance. I don't think the GPU and CPU will bottleneck.
