I've been using wireless mice my whole life so far and never really had any issues until recently. I had a G602 first and I noticed as I would play games, occasionally it would appear to cut out or lose signal causing a skip, I noticed it the most when rotating my camera in games, my camera would just stop. I cleaned my mouse pad and mouse, no change, so I chalked it up to the G602 being old and bought this Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed and at first it was fine, but now I'm seeing it with this mouse too but even worse is that the mouse buttons themselves seem to " cut off " or let go. I can be aiming in a game and suddenly it stops, or be shooting and suddenly it stops. I tried switching USB ports on my PC to no avail, fresh battery, not sure what else to try. The G602 was never this bad, why would a brand new mouse be worse? Is it my PC? If so what could it be? Its really annoying and im about to just buy a damn chorded mouse... I hate chords though, they drive me crazy.

Ty for reading.

Edit: by recently I mean well, since I moved I guess would be the best timeframe. I did upgrade my PC recently from an i7 6700 to a ryzen 5 3600, and now that I think about it I don't recall having issues with my mouse on my old build, unless I am mistaken. But what would cause that? PCs can be so confusing lol.

I might. But do you have any idea why the mouse would cut off like this? Is it just the mice being retarded? Maybe signal interference, they do use 2.4GHz band, which is the same band as my wifi and my family has a LOT of devices on.

There is not a real answer to this, I myself have used wireless mices since almost 5 years but they generally start bugging after a year or so..

That sucks seeing as how this Razer is only 1 month and 9 days (since purchase anyway).

I didn't know mice had drivers, I just installed the program and that was it. I'll take a look.

That’s incorrect, and you are wrong on so many levels. This may have been true 5 years ago, but not today. If wireless mice are ‘better’, then why is the G Pro wireless the most popular mouse for Pro Players? Why are all the big companies shifting their focus from wired to wireless mice?

See I never was bothered by wireless until these issues... no latency problems or anything, im not a pro gamer so reducing latency to the tiniest possible amount isn't needed for me, but my mouse cutting off on me, no thanks.

Well I dont see a driver or firmware update option on the synapse app, but it did do an update when I launched it however that may be for the app itself.

Well I did some light gaming, played halo wars and all was fine but then I logged out and was doing some internet browsing and the whole ass mouse just stopped working for legit a few mins, thought battery died even though it was brand new, but nope fresh battery didnt work either, then about a minute later it just came back on.

this seems really odd, you might want to contact razer support as this may be a faulty product. have you tried it on a different device though?

I have not, I suppose I could swap back to my old G602 and let my brother in law try it out and see if he has issues.

Im super confused right now. I unplugged my razer and got my 602 back out, plugged it in and it just wont work, the logitech software says its not powered on or its sleeping but its turned on, has fresh batteries.

I think god is telling me to buy a wired mouse.
