Loud H100i Startup

Does anyone else own one here and have the issue I'm having where when you start your PC from a cold boot (or sleep mode) and the fans with the h100i literally sound like jet engines for a good 5 seconds? Is that normal? Why does it need to happen anyway

move post to thread for quicker suggestions and help.

when i have the H100i configured fans attached to controller, yes you will always get the "POST" test to function the fans for error checking.

even when i move the fans to motherboard fan header, still get the fan rush on POST/boot.

when wiring the fans static (one speed) from PSU no fan rush, but no fan speed scaling.

 

but yes it is normal for fan rush on POST/boot when wired to H100i controller.

Yeah it's pretty normal and it's only a few seconds so it doesn't matter, for me at least
