Quote

A new device capable of display 3D images and video from Leia.inc who is now the predecessor of Hydrogen One  and it's equiped with a 845 Snapdragon and Android 10

Well , It started 2 months before when I searched on Leia inc page and found that a new tablet was on develop and, at first I tried to search more about but, I only found a pdf that was talking about some features about the tablet so, I'm an Hydrogen One user and I asked on h4vuser.net about the product and the answer was Yes.

"Guys all I can say for now is that our team has spent the last 18 months working on Lume Pad, a product designed primarily for commercial use. We think you will love the experience – stay tuned…" from David Fattal .

After a couple of weeks they posted a link for a Facebook group (RED Hydrogen One Users) and recently David Fattal is announcing the preorder for their new

3D device "Lume Pad"  (wich is not related with RED because the screen is just the only component of Leia on REDs phone ).

There's a video that it´s on 3D so , if you have a Hydrogen One you can watch it.

I would like to provide a link for the post from the Facebook Group  but it´s a private grup but i think you can enter.

Anyways i´ll leave some links and the post from the Facebook Group.

Hope this get someone attention.

I pre-ordered this. I worked with my RH1 into a 3D game monitor that doesn't require glasses using a few scripts I edited in Unity. And this version is basically gen 2. The difference between this and the RH1 is that the RH1 was a Red device using Gen 1 lightfield tech and was kinda dull but there are still features such as Holopix for artists that look amazing. Where as the Lume pad is a device directly from Lit by Leia using Gen 2 light-field tech.

The Lume Pad is still a 4x4 but has a ToF on the front and brighter display. This is only for creators or people wanting to dive into lightfield tech.

The images are simulated because it would flicker with only one line of sight. Sony is also playing in the same field but using the tech differently with a box and eye tracker.

All in all the people who are buying it are people who want to learn and create and not your average consumer at this time as this is the creators edition. If you don't code or if you're not into making art then don't buy because the main reason Sony hasn't released anything with this tech is because it's not completely there, but it's getting close. Once you see Sony start talking about lightfields more, then it will be more safer for the average consumer to buy.

Edited after my first break at work. Overtime has got me murdered.
