Hey guys i am currently using time warner cable and yes it sucks but it is the only thing available in the area where i live but i wanted to get my own router because they are charging $8 a month for the router and i feel like its a waste of money. I contact them and they said that i was allowed to buy my own router but they recommend a motorola router with docsis 3.0 since time warner cable runs threw cable connection i wanted to ask you does anyone know of a good router that i can buy (not the most expensive one plz) thanks for anyone who helps and much love <3

Do you mean a router? Or a modem? Because DOCSIS 3.0 is a modem standard and you do need both. Its possible that TWC's device is both a router and a modem combined.
