One particular PC-monitor combo not working

I recently got a new pc with an Intel i5 9400, Asus B365m mATX motherboard, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM. No dedicated gpu. It's connected to ViewSonic VX 3211 4k monitor. I ran it at 1440p 60hz over HDMI. This setup worked fine for a couple of weeks. But then about a week ago the screen stared going black and coming back continuously. Updated both the display drivers and the Intel igpu drivers too. Problem persists. Next day to isolate the faulty component, I connect the PC to my TV over HDMI. Zero issues. I try the monitor and PC again. This time it says no signal. I connect a laptop to the monitor over Display port. No issues. Monitor and Xbox 360 over HDMI. No issues. The PC and an old monitor over VGA, also no problem. At this point since the PC was still quite new and didn't customize it fully. I reinstalled windows. Same thing. The ViewSonic monitor just says no signal. I even cleared CMOS. Still the problem persists. I'm at my wit's end. Please help.

Use DP to the monitor then?

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

When there is no danger of failure there is no pleasure in success.

Can you use VGA? This should still be enough for 1440p 60Hz.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Before anyone says so, tried a new HDMI cable. Still doesn't work.
