Hello guys,

My PSU ( EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 ) is suddenly not working for some reason. The PC is completely dead. No lights! Nothing.

I tried to take my older PSU ( Corsair RM 750x ) but for some reason the PC is not booting up. Lights are on but the fans aren’t running and the PC isn’t booting at all

I’m a bit worried that something broke with the PSU

CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X

Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62

MB: Gigabyte X570 Ultra

RAM: 64 Corsair Vengenance RGB Pro 2(2x16)

It's very possible - PSUs often take some things with them on the way out. Usually the motherboard...

Do you know for sure that the 750x is working fully? A cheap PSU tester from Amazon will let you know for sure. I still use an old Thermaltake Dr Power II, but they are EOL, and remaining ones are a rip off... (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Thermaltake-Power-Tester-ATX2-3-Display/dp/B005LHTULW/)

Here's a newer one, should be available on your local amazon site too? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Informatique-Tester-P4-ATX-SUPPLY-CABLES/dp/B001RTM63W/
