I have a Ryzen 7 3700x and I've been reading online a lot about overclocking.

But it seems that for my CPU, overclocking is pointless for the usage of my pc ( which is gaming).
But I also saw people talking about single core overclocking and I've been seeing a lot of people contradicting each other about the subject.

So here are my questions : Is it possible to overclock a single core on my Ryzen 7 3700x and if so, is it worth it?

(excuse my english if it sucked, it's not my native language)

You can do this through ryzen master. It is an app which you can use to overclock, stress test and see temps of your ryzen CPU. Through that, you can adjust the clock speed of each core. Depending on what you are donig with your PC, a single core overclock could help.

most motherboards offer a per-core overclocking setup, for example an Asus board will have "sync all cores" or you can do each independently, so that the more cores that are working, the lower the clock speed, but the less cores are working, the faster the speed.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I should have added this too, but if it's possible and useful to overclock a single core, do you have any guide on how to do it properly? I never overclocked any CPU before.
