VPN Issue

I've been using privateinternetaccess.com with great success and love it.

However, I've come into an issue with a few website in which access to my accounts has been locked due to having an obfuscated IP.

I wonder how they know this given that whatismyip shows a valid IP from a US based location.

I am also wondering if there is something I can do about it without disabling my VPN when visiting those sites?

Try another location, I use this VPN and it seemed to work

It has to be US because it is a US service.

Also, I can't seem to be able to use my VPN when buying from the Microsoft store. It just keeps saying there's a problem processing payment. If I don't use the VPN, the payment goes through.

Both scenarios are Microsoft services. Seems Microsoft has developed an anti-VPN position and is actively blocking them. This is confirmed in their emails where I was told using a VPN is against their TOS.

This is unacceptable. I was also blocked for using a VPN. Seems they can tell somehow.

So question remains: How can I get around these VPN blocks?
