Hi there,

I have a dell g5 and I wanted to replace the default screen with a 120hz one, however the screen replacement was faulty so had to put the old one back, however there seems to be a problem. After I put the screen back and the top cover, everytime I close the laptop, the lid switch does not work. Everytime I close the lid, the laptop won't be put into sleep. I tried getting a magnet and try different places, over the bezel, power button, still nothing. I might have knocked off the magnet by accident and don't know what to do. Does anyone know where the magnet is located/lid switch on the 5587? Thanks in advance!
