Hey,

I've just built my first pc and I'm having a hard time getting consistent performance out of my GPU. It stutters and drops frame significantly lower than expected. I first thought it was a DPI issue with my logitech mouse, but the problems persisted. Later it seemed to be a problem with having Gsync enabled on my monitor so I turned it off, but then the problem persisted. So I'm unsure what it is. The pattern I'm seeing is reduced GPU performance below 99% that fluctuates pretty erratically, but can become consistent and stay around 85-94%; MSI Afterburner is telling me voltage and power limits, and temperature appears to be normal.

My specs are:

Intel core i7-10700 2.9 ghz

Evga 500 BA cooler (500w)

MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Plus LGA 1200 mobo

16gb corsair vengeance ddr4 3600

1TB WD NVMe m.2 SSD

MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming Z 6GB

Try DDU and reinstall the latest drivers directly from Nvidia, do not use any other utilities to adjust settings, only what comes with the driver. See if that helps any.
