3D blueprint programs

Hello I’m looking into making a desk for my room but I would like to make a blue print of it first. I know that there are programs that I can pay for to do on, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend free programs that are known to be good.

First you need a 3D printer.  Some of the plans for 3D projects are printer specific so it would be a little easier if we had some system specs along with the printer you are using.

He needs just software...

 

There are several. SketchUp has free online version which lacks just premade models and 2D component. There's TinkerCAD for learning CAD. There's FreeCAD which has the learning curve of open-source software. Or you could also use Blender while its aimed more for 3D animation.
