Current setup :

* 9700K

* Kraken X60 front mounted in a Fractal R6 (2x140mm intake behind rad) - Noctua's

* 1 outtake at back (140mm)

Temps idle @50% fan speed : 40°C / stressed +- 75°C - 80°C

I still find the 2x140mm Noctua's a 'bit' load, really would love to get my pc as quiet as possible without sacrificing temps. My RTX2080 is running hot enough as it is, and with the case closed, the current setup is clearly not getting the air out fast enough or not getting cool air in. So considering this, which would you recommend :

* put the radiator on top with 2x140mm outtake, and put 2x140mm intakes in the front

Or

* replace the X60 (which might not be performing as well) with a good air cooler, and put 2x140mm intakes in the front, then air cooler, then outtake

Which would be best.?

That case is designed for silent operations with large custom loops.

Your single fan aio is going to struggle. I would recommend a 360 aio or a 280 at the smallest to get the results you want. Arctic has the best aios ATM and also the best priced aio currently. A top mount of the one of these would be best. But a front mount well also be fine

I'd also add additional fans to the case.

If on a budget the Arctic p12 or p14 would also be a great choice as they have high static pressure and not loud for a cheap price. Or, kaze flex as they can spin a really low rpm
