hyperX customisation software

Go to solution Solved by pythonmegapixel,

I've had a look and it seems that however good the actual software is their software support is crap, so I'll be giving their mice a miss for now. Feel free to respond to this post if you want, but I'll ignore it.

I've decided to treat myself to a new mouse as my old one isn't very comfortable to use. I really like the look at some of the HyperX ones and I got a HyperX cloud II headset a few months ago which I'm very pleased with so unless there's a big problem with their stuff I'll probably go with them.

However there is another important question. How good is NGENUITY (HyperX's customisation software)? For example, what can buttons be mapped to? How much customisation is available of the RGB (most importantly, can it be steady rather than flashing/pulsing)?

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.
