Hello

I have upgraded from a small 256gb SATA SSD to a second 512gb M.2 NVMe. So right now, I have 2 M.2 from the same brand PCIe Gen 3 x 4 SSD that are both NVMe 1.3.

I am using an ASUS Z-370-f gaming which has 2 slot for M.2, one is recognized, but the second (the new one) is not. I can't seem to see it in the BIOS, and it doesn't appear in Device Manager. I went in the bios, tried to play with the setting, I setup m2 to PCIE mode and not SATA mode, I disabled the SATA ports. tried to reboot and all, but I can't make it appear.

Any idea would really be helpful. Thanks.

I also tried to swap the m.2 drivers to opposite ports. and the first port (The one SATA/NVMe never seems to work with any of the NVMe drive connected on it).

Have you checked if there was any dust in the port? If the motherboard has already been in use before, it is possible that a small dust particle might have gotten stuck in it's unused ports (had this issue myself of a port not working due to dust)

the top M.2 Slot is shared with SATA_56 Ports (5&6), and the bottom one is shared with the SATA_1 Port, make sure you don't have anything plugged in there
