I can't install windows on my pc

Sadman XR

I have bought an new drive some days ago . I installed windows 10 on it using dvd . I have installed Windows 10 home on it . But later I wanted to install windows 10 professional on it . So I used my cd to install windows 10 once again . But after the windows logo whole screen goes black , no cursor . When screen goes black there is no flashing light on cd driver . And after restarting many times sometime setup shows up (No black screen) but when I try to install windows , it shows no hard drive . I even tried windows 8.1 and 7 . But still same problem . Please help me .

*My hard drive is new

Thanks in advance .

Can you go into your BIOS? Also is Windows running on your PC fine or does it refuse to work (not talking about the setup, talking about normal usage)?

First of all - you don't must install Windows again if you want to change it to pro. Just enter pro key.

Second - enter bios and check is your drive present. Check all cables.

My driver is always present in bios . I think problem is in my cd driver because it sometime stop flashing light when starting setup . Should I try using bootable usb instead of cd?

I think that would work better than the CD.
