Hi guys! first post here... with a technical difficulty

A few days ago I was playing on my pc when all of a sudden the game hard crash, freezing my PC

upon rebooting I noticed my 1tb HDD was completely missing, so I turned it off and unplugged it and plugged it, now, when the HDD is plugged in my computer won't go past the boot screen and it will commence a endless restart loop
I managed to get to the BIOS once, and the HDD appeared, upon restarting again the pc booted but it got stucked on a endless startup with windows
It's obviously the HDD, but... is it a hardware failure or is it any way I can repair it? (corrupted files or something)
I tried to wipe the HDD but it's impossible because I can't boot at all, not even with a bootable windows

You can wipe the hdd by putting it into another pc. Grab a sata to usb cable and power the hdd using your psu, plug the hdd into a laptop or something then wipe it from disk management

It could be a failed update. I had the same issue after a Windows update. Try to repair windows with an USB stick with the Windows  installer on it. Maybe backup your data before if you haven’t done so yet.
