So my birthday is coming up this week and I have decided to treat myself to a new pc. This will be the first machine I am going to build from scratch so I wonder if someone could check my build for incompatibilities and or things I could do differently. The attached PDF has all the parts listed.

I appreciate all the help I can get, and if some choices aren't clear I am happy to explain.

psu is good and powerfull enought but get a better motherboard with better vrms and vrm cooling like ASRock b450M PRO-4-F i used 2 of them and they work perfectly! i recommend that board its cheap and better than the asus cuz it has better vrms and vrm heatsinks

Not the power. It’s powerful enough. It’s just not reliable enough

If you go with the board mentioned, you may have to update bios, with a different am4 cpu, so I would say stay away unless the vendor says Ryzen 3000 ready

I'd rather not risk having to update the bios. So I think I'll just buy the MSI motherboard. Also, isn't a 1660 super to much for a 3100?

No, a 3100 can handle it, it has 4c/8t on zen2, it’ll be fine
