Is my aio dead

Go to solution Solved by xhackforeverxdx,

Maybe air got into the pump when u moved it since there will be alot of air in the loop after 6 years is your radiator in the front or on the top or your case ?

I moved my PC from one room to another. i didn’t slam it, i was gentle. when i powered it up in its new home the radiator fans were at max speed so i restarted and then it boot looped. i pull all the ram out and put in 1 stick and got to the bios were i saw my cpu was at 99C! i shut down my pc. i pulled off the water block to check thermal paste and it was in great condition. My cpu is cool to the touch but the block is still warm. i have a cooler master 240m aio. its at least 6 years old. is it clogged or did the pump die? when i put my can to the radiator while it was on the air was cool.

Edit: I have reinstalled the aio. and tipped the computer back and forth. it now hols a normal idle temp. i think it was just an air bubble

The cable is still plug all the way in? No lose cables?

imo, it is dead if you saw 99C in the BIOS. You are lucky to have AIO to last that long.

everything is plugged in all the way
