No. At most you'd want a 3700x, and if you're not building now, don't bother asking; we're on the cusp of new hardware, you'd be better off waiting for that.

I would spend the money differently, if I needed to build one today. As someone else mentioned, mew hardware is coming out by the end of the year, though, so you might be better off waiting.

If I had to build one today for gaming, a 3300X (if you can find it) or a 3600 for the CPU is going to max out current graphics cards up to almost a 2080 ti. I'd go with one of these.

16GB of 3200-3600MHz RAM. 600-750W power supply. A B-series motherboard (B450, B550 if you don't want to have to worry about updating BIOS). A good case with good airflow, some extra fans for it. Check reviews on these parts.

A SATA SSD, at least 250GB but preferrably 500GB (you could do an M.2, but the extra speed is lost in a gaming PC, as it doesn't really net you anything). I wouldn't pay for more than a 1TB SSD with your budget, I'd get a 2-3TB Seagate BarraCuda hard drive for your games and storage. Put your heaviest game(s) on the SSD, or leave it empty except for Windows.

An aftermarket CPU cooler is nice, but not necessary.

Buy Windows for $120 if you don't want the watermark - otherwise, get it for free from Microsoft, and put it on a flash drive to install it. They give you instructions how to do it. The watermark is small, and in the lower right corner, and asks you to Activate Windows.

After you have all of this, then look at what's left of your budget, and choose the best tier of graphics card you can afford. Don't get the reference cards from NVidia or AMD, get a graphics card from EVGA, Asus, Gigabyte, etc.

Use a site like PCPartPicker, and pay attention to size - like, if you buy fans, what size fits in the case you want? 120mm or 140mm? If you get a nice, chonky graphics card, is it too long for your case? If you want to get an aftermarket cooler, will it fit in your case, and is the RAM you want too tall for it? For some of these things, you might have to go to the manufacturer's website to get dimensions and clearances.

I can put a build I'd recommend for your budget together when I get home in a few minutes. I do this as a side gig.
