I have a dell prebuilt and upgraded it recently with a better psu and graphics card, in the picture below. Some things are running a little hotter the. I like, would it be beneficial to remove my front panel. I don’t care about astheictic.

can't be answered.

Questions:
Are the power buttons / LEDs part of the front panel, or the case?

Is that 'grill' big enough for a fan to be placed in?

Honestly, you're probably better off buying a newegg 30 or 40$ Case on sale, with a 120mm or two intake and exhaust to cool things down.

The problem is that the dell motherboard doesn’t allow that many fans

I mean, I just looked at newegg:

https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811353150?Item=N82E16811353150&quicklink=true

34$ Shipped with 2 case fans.  Your computer would be SOOOO much happier in this cheapo case than in this coffin.

If you can't plug it into the motherboard, use the adapter and plug it into Molex/SATA

SOmething like this:  it can come in Molex (this) Sata, or even one PSU plug to multiple fans.

But if you're buying 2 fans, and an adapter?  Buy the new case instead.

4 Pin Molex Connector Male to Standard 3 Pin Fan Connector Male ...

Or just use a super cheap fan splitter. A 1 to 2 fan splitter is like 5$. I do fully agree with you that a new case is needed as that current one was never designed to have so much hardware in there at all.

Ok thanks

Op I actually advice you to get a 1 to 2 fan splitter. Costs about 5$ and the fan will not run at 100% all the time and be very loud. It will follow the same speed as the cpu fan then.

But as the other person said a new case would be far far better than that one as that thing was never designed to have that much hardware in it. What would be best for you as a temp solution would be to leave the side panel off.
