Hi there, a few months ago I asked some advice on changing my previous Ryzen 5 2600 and RTX 2060 over a 3700X and a 2080 SUPER. I still rock the same B450 GAMING-F ROG STRIX and my 650W Gold PSU. I recently got my brand new CPU,  Asiahorse power sleeve extensions for my PSU, and extra kit of 16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB like the ones I used to have, so now I've got 32GB. I managed to install it all and also the Wraith Prism cooler. However, now when I turn on my computer, the fans on my GPU fun at 100% for like 7 seconds, really loud, the "GEFORCE RTX" logo doesn't light up during those 7 seconds until the fans stop (FE model), my Wraith Prism cooler turns on the RGB but the fan doesn't start running during those 7 seconds of loud GPU fans. After those seconds are over, the boot up screen shows on my PC and every goes back to normal. My fans stop running loud, the cooler fan of the CPU starts running and the rest goes on perfectly. No issues with Windows when using it at all. I just also installed a fresh new copy of Windows 10 Pro yesterday to see if it wasn't something messing up the software when I upgraded CPUs. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version and reinstalled all of my software such as ASUS AURA, ICUE, and GeForce Experience, but today I just turned it on and it does it again. :(

Any thoughts?

I think reinstalling Windows 10 and installing the graphics drivers should've solved that, no? I could try again but it just seems like reinstalling the whole OS did it already. I also read online about "lack of power" but wasn't so sure about it as I just saw that from one particular user.

Did you ever find a solution to this I’m currently having the same issues on my computer

I got the same problem and I went back and forth with the asus, amd, nvidia supports, the conclusion is that it is what it is, there is no way of solving it.

Damn that’s lame so what is it that causes the problem the mother board or just the pairing of Ryzen with an nvidia gpu

The noise was coming out of the new corsair ll120 fans and nvidia card fans, and the nvidia card was taking a few seconds to power up and stop the loud fans. I saw this only happened ever since I changed my ryzen 2600 with a 3700x. I swapped them back and the issue was gone like magic.

Thought it had to be with VRMs or power supply but I see lots of people with the same motherboard and similar power supply but with no issues whatsoever.

specs once again are:

b450f gaming rog strix

vengeance pro rgb 3200 32gb 4x8gb

evga gold semi 650w

ryzen 2600

970 evo plus 250gb

wd blue 500 ssd2.5"

Yeah then the issue is most likely just the pairing of the 3700x and the founders edition cards that’s so dumb.
