RX580 problems

Hello,

I'm having trouble with two RX580's that were used for mining years ago.

1 card doesn't turn on at all.

1 card turns off after a few minutes both in idle and on load.

There were no visible damage/shorts on the PCBs. Replaced the thermal paste - both were DRY. I did notice some oily parts. Read somewhere years ago that its a bad sign but I couldn't find the post now.

Pretty sure it's not the PSU. Using a Superflower 1200w and I originally had a Vega 64 in the system.

As for the config during mining, core clock and core voltage were turned way down, don't remember the power limits, mem clock was up (don't remember how much). Temps where around the 70-80 range with a fan pointed at the rig.

Might try reloading the firmware on the cards. Trying another PSU or even a whole other system might be a good idea if you have it available. Also check your bios to see if it is set to your integrated GPU over your PCIe GPU. If none of that reveals anything then you might be SOL.
