I am in the process of setting up a PC modding store, and I need a really good camera that will take HD photos.

I have never bought a camera before, so I don't know where to start, thats why I am here asking.

It will need to show every detail of items such as, if It can do these then will be perfect for everything else.

  • LED Lighting (With the lights on)
  • Paracord

Requirements

  • Minimum 1080p
  • Record video
  • Ability to mount to a tripod
  • The Ability to have it connected to a PC, and show the photo immediately on a program (Not necessary but would be nice and helpful)
  • Neck strap
  • Would need a flash.

I am in the UK, and my price range will be anything up to £400, could possible go higher, but not to high.

EDIT: Forgot to add, the cheaper the better.

Thanks :D

If you don't need anything special you can get a t3i/600d really cheaply on amazon. It does all you need and costs less than you have :D with that extra money you could maybe put towards a good tripod.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

I agree, I think the t3i would be an excellent choice. Even the t2i, really.

Most of the items in that kit are likely of low quality. Something to keep in mind, if it's a great deal more than the camera alone.

t3i's here are $399. Or 212ish pound. Might be worth looking around a little more to find a better deal.

as a starter kit its not bad but I personally would just save the money and only buy what I needed.

The cheapest I can find is £310 just for the camera, no lens - Not including the ebay link, had so much bad luck with all purchases on there, even with sellers with really good rep.

Think it might be worth me buying the bundle, as I might even use the camera for family outings, the camera seems a lot more expensive over here.

Not sure what to do, will keep looking around until I have the money to get it.

Sounds to me like you should go for the deal :)

It has everything you need for a decent price. The camera and lens would set you back that much normally anyway

Check out these guys.  I bought a Canon 700D from them last year and they were very cheap.

They sell "grey imports" but give you a three year warranty instead.

Nothing to see here - move along.
