It's probably already enabled, but if you want to double check quickly.

 

Right click window icon on bottom left of your screen.

 

Click "Search"

 

In the Search bar type in "Command" (without the " ")

 

Right click Command Prompt

 

Run as Administrator

 

Click Yes

 

Type in "fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify" (without the " ")

 

If you get "=0" then Trim is enabled. If you get "=1" then type in "fsutil behavior set disabledeletenotify 0" (without the " ").

The only real way to check if trim is working is by using a small app called trimcheck
