minecraft rtx beta

I had the rtx beta and i liked it, but i coudnt switch over to play online mode in like you were pretty much locked from online in it so i got rid of it. am I missing something or is online mode locked in beta unless you play with other people in the beta? why isnt the beta backwards compatible with other versions so it can just automatically run in non beta mode if i want to play online with non beta users, why do i have to choose between being able to play in rtx or play multiplayer why dosnt the beta have an option to be compatible online with non beta players, I understand multiplayer rtx isnt finished yet but why cant I play with other people rtx off in the beta? Like it wouldn't be hard to implement a mode so you can play with non beta users in beta its ridiculous, and when will minecraft rtx actually be released not this beta stuff like a full release, i cant find nay news on it or anything.

don't think they've impilemented it in online yet.

or maybe it's just the server that hasn't updated to support it (hypixel runs on an older version than 1.10 afaik) using hypixel as an example.

i'm just curious how you got the rtx to work, i couldn't for the life of me figure it out.

I had to join the beta through this Xbox insider hub app in the windows store and do everything in there I did it a few months ago don't remember details, I'm not worried about getting rtx to work online it's in beta i understand it won't work, I just want to play Minecraft online normally while in the beta do I can experience rtx in singeplayer and also play online normally without rtx, it seems in the beta you can't play with freinds or online unless they are also in the beta which is dumb why isn't the beta backwards compatible with the latest non beta version so I can play with freinds and also enjoy the beta why do I have to choose or rejoin the beta everytime I want ray tracing and leave the beta when I want to play with freinds it's ridiculous.
