my asus M5A97R2.0 burnt out on me cause i place the cpu fan connector in incorrectly into the fan header now im worried that newegg won't replace it with my 2 year service warranty with consumer induced damage coverage cause im missing 1 screw on the stock heat sink holder thiing i don't have a name for it but most amd motherboard have those i use a after market cooler but i couldn't find that 1 screw for my RMA replacement i put in i shipped it off already can anyone of you help thanks.

They are more likely to deny your RMA because of user error caused by the fan being improperly plugged in.... I believe there's some easily noticeable signs of that to a retailer...

 

I don't think they'd really mind about a missing bolt...
