got a weird question:

if i have 2 pcs on the same network, can i access files that are on one pc from the other one? like transferring files are deleting them

or maybe ts with software or something like that?

its the first time im encountering this

It’s been a while since I’ve needed to do this, but I believe if you have windows network sharing turned on, you should be able to do this. That’s for accessing files, I don’t think you can’t delete them that way (but don’t quote me on that).

its not really deleting its more of just transferring

for example: i have a big video file that i recorded on pc number 2 but i want to transfer it to pc number 1 so i can edit that

you see where im going with this?

So you want to transfer the file and delete the file on pc number 1 once it is copied? Or do you still want a copy left on pc number 1?

i just want the option of transferring the file.

i dont mind going to the other pc and deleting it but i have no other way of transferring the files. im not gonna transfer the hdd every time just to transfer a file

You should be able to do that with Windows Network Sharing turned on on both computers. If that doesn’t work for some reason, you can share files using TeamViewer, which has the benefit of being able to transfer files to a computer on another network.
