Can someone help me setup JoyShockMapper?

When I run the program it detects my bluetooth connected ps4 controller's inputs fine. However, unlike in a video I watched my gyros are not working. How do I set this up? I put a brave.txt file in the autoload folder like it asked me to and a SOTTR.txt file in the gyro folder. Each has the Shadow of The Tomb Raider configuration in it. I am on Linux by the way.
