Power Management

I have been facing this problem, after I turn on my laptop after sleep I cannot login using fingerprint. Although I can use my fingerprint after a complete shutdown. I guess this is a power management issue but i cannot find the missing power management tab in fingerprint driver in my device manager. I have been through many instruction and topics to restore the tab non of which were a proper help. I would love to have a solution, this is bothering me a lot because I normally let my laptop in sleep mode rather than turning it off. Thank you.
