Hi guys,

For my new appartment, I would like to connect my computer to my tv and my monitor at the same time, with the option to switch the computer output to the tv when wanted (for example doing some casual games with friends) and back. in the best case also switching the keyboard&mouse, although i can overcome that. Does anybody knows if such devices exists, or whether it can be done with software easily?

my pc setup: Intel I5 7600k with a RX480

Most RX480s have 3 DP and one HDMI connectors, there's nothing stopping you from connecting a DP to your monitor and the HDMI to your TV at the same time. Windows is smart enough that it won't even show the TV as an available output unless the TV is turned on and on the correct HDMI channel.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

I'll add to this, saying this is the best action to take. You don't need to do anything with the mouse and keyboard, as long as you can use them from wherever you plan on sitting OP, a USB extension and a USB hub can help immensely for this BTW.Also consider getting a remote (if for media consumption), or a wireless mouse/keyb if you don't want to have wires everywhere.
