OnePlus 8 Pro? Other recommendations?

I'm looking to upgrade from a Galaxy S7 and looking at the OnePlus 8 Pro but unsure if there is any better alternatives/recommendations

Is there any issues I should be aware of ex. thermal throttling?

I saw on reddit the 8pro had screen issues, should I still be worried still?

 

My only priority is speed really so I was looking at SD865

3.5mm jack wouldn't be a con either

For speed, wait for the iPhone 12. Should be quite a bit faster than any android

Tbh the 11 will be faster than android for the next couple of years unless Qualcomm get their act together
