New monitor

TristenM

Hello monitor community!

my first post here, be gentle ;)

I found a used Asus 28” monitor

in my local area for 35$ (CAD)

model #: VX278

was just wondering what the opinion of this unit is, if anyone’s used it or had any problems.

thanks in advance!

Pretty decent for $35 CAD. I'd get it

forgot to mention it is the Q version, so 80,000,000:1 contrast ratio,

my current daily driver is a 1920x1080P Dell monitor model #: ST2321LF

and this Asus would replace that

Looks like a good replacement. Same resolution but a 75hz refreshrate. but it is a TN panel so if you are viewing the display from a different angle other than straight on the colors will look a bit odd. But otherwise it is a great entry level to mid range gaming display.

it'll be smack dab in the middle of my desk just like my current one, I thinked i lucked out with the price as well

only downside is it's about a 45 minute drive from my house lol.

but yeah, 75hz versus the 55hz i get with my current
