Upgrading for VR

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Upgrading RAM is pretty easy, 16GB is usually recommended.

Then getting a more powerful GPU for VR, I'd say a 2060 or a 5600XT is a minimum if you want good quality.

Budget (including currency): $1000

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: VR Chat, No Man's Sky VR

What are my main bottlenecks? If I'm replacing parts one at a time what should I do first, last, and in between? Please note how much of an impact the proposed upgrades will be and how likely it would be to be able to skip the upgrade or choose a less expensive option if possible. How much power do I need?
