Windows Reinstall

Hey , I tried resetting my pc , that didn't workout so i decided to try reinstalling windows 10 . I ran into a problem , I have enterprise version of the Windows and as i saw a tutorial they said pick the version you own as of right now , but i couldn't see a label saying Windows 10 Enterprise . So I decided to ask you guys. Thanks! By The Way I am reinstalling windows with an usb through media creation tool.

The Media Creation Tool cannot be used for installing Enterprise editions of Windows. Apparently you'll have to log in to the "Volume Licensing Service Center", although I have never done that, myself.

What would happen if i would've installed another version of Windows and would not activate it? I personally do not mind the watermark and ability limit.

AFAIK just expect limited updates, a watermark and some disabled aesthetic settings. Other than that running without activation is fine. You can pick up a licence for pretty cheap if that bothers you, otherwise it's probably fine.

 

I used old Windows 7 licenses to activate my Windows 10 machines. Did maybe 4 or 5 machines this way. So that might be an option, too.

Thanks , and just the question before the installation , I installed the media creation tool on to my 16gb usb and booted from it with the UEIF setting as it said in the video. Am I ready to start the reinstallation of Windows?

That all sounds correct to me. Some "best practice" notes:

 

1. Remove all drives from the system except the one you are installing to.
2. Do a custom install.
3. Delete all partitions on the drive you are installing to and select the unallocated space for the install. Windows will create the necessary partitions for you.

Alright , I don't have any personal files so should I just delete all of the drives as it is shown in the video?

You should delete all of the partitions. There should only be 1 drive  in the system during installation.

Maybe there is some way i could contact you when i will start the reinstallation and i could send you photos of the process? And btw what is your timezone , so I don't message you in the middle of the night or something like that.
