PbP, PnP? Split Screen?

I want to buy the LG CX 48".  I want to split the screen horizontally so the top and bottom performs like a dual monitor.  There will only be 1 source, my desktop.  The goal is to play games at the bottom and display youtube, etc at the top for example.  Are there any easy solution?

You can get software to split your screen or create zones to seperate, usually used for splitting multiple tabs rather than horizontally

 

You will have a much better experience getting a seperate monitor for youtube and just using that tv as a display ,especially since if its split you will have a strange aspect ratio, that may cause issues in some games

 

You could also just launch games at a custom resolution and move it to the bottom and have a chrome tab take up the top half
