       That's right kiddos Linux from Scratch 7.5 is live. I know a bunch of you were thinking about creating your own Linux Distributions. Let me tell you, this is the best way to not only build a custom Linux OS, but to get a deep intimate understanding of the way Linux works. It will help teach you how the kernel mitigates the use of system resources to different tasks and applications. How the X server actually works, How to compile source code into your own packages, and many many many many many many many other things. Like making your own BASH aliases. Also, it will introduce you to the way the file system works behind the scenes. You will learn about the different system services, how to make new ones, and automate the starting of them with tools like DKMS. All in all it is one of the best tools for knowledge if you are just starting on your path to being a Linux Ninja BADASS and part of the true PC master race. Choose a bleeding edge kernel or a LTS one, a rolling distribution or one updated in set intervals (Good Luck With That). All that being said this will give you every tool necessary to create your very own OS!
