Hey guys, this is my first time building, read a bit about it and assembled this rig on Amazon, but Part Picker warns me about the motherboard compability with the processor and heatsink. What do you think?

I don't play a lot or competitively, but would love to see Witcher 3 on good graphics and somehow run games like Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk later in the future.

Any tips are welcome, thank you.

that warning comes because 212 Evo is so old that it didnt launch with AM4 support. It should have the necessary mounting frame now, but I still dont recommend it because it's outmatched by a lot of newer coolers at the 30 quid price range like the Arctic Freezer 34.

Also that PSU's bad

The prices are wrong with your build, with pounds you still have 42£ left.

and as Jurrunio said, the PSU isn’t the best and the 212 evo is old.

here’s an “modified” build; (BTW, you could go for a 500Gb M2 if you don’t need that much storage and want faster storage)

Thanks for all the tips, I think I'm gonna go with 500GB M2 then and look for a new PSU! Also, would Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition be a good fit instead of a standard 212? I'm still planning to use ASUS ROG Strix B450-F motherboard for the build.

tbh the regular stock cooler does the job of cooling a 3600, id save the money for other components. and as of the board, dont get the b450-f, its pretty bad for the price.

I'd go with MSI B450 Tomahawk, but I've heard Strix B-450 has a better audio chipset and lan port. Watching films and listening to music on my headphones is something I do more often than gaming. I'm gonna give a stock cooler a shot then! Especially since I don't plan on overclocking my CPU.

Also, I bought NZXT H510 for the build, so it looks like this now. Was thinking about getting 2x12mm front intake fans instead of a new cooler then.

getting the tommahawk and an external soundcard is the way to go.

can you still return the h510?? the case might look good but the airflow is horrendous.
