im trying to upgrade and im not sure what cpu/motherboard to get, i heard the ryzen 5 3600 was good as well as the Gigabyte B450M DS3H but i got this notification on pcpartpicker with the combination of them both. Im not sure if they are compatible because of this, but if they aren't id like a cpu around 150$ and a motherboard around 100$ if someone could recommend one.

"**Warning!**Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions. "

That message just means that the you may need to update the motherboard bios, AMD does a thing where they send you the chip you need to update and then you sent it back. This motherboard however is a piece of garbage, go with a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max

Yeah that motherboard is cheap but it lacks a lot of features. I ended up with an asus prime instead. 10/10 would recommend.
