I set up up my first watercooling loop for just my gpu (1080 ti gigabyte turbo it was used and the blower was worthless) and it works good boosts to 2000mhz compared to 1500 (when it wants to) all hard tubes using the rajintec phoycos kit with a byski waterblock. Now it has pump Rez combo, and there is the issue it won't turn on every time when I turn on the computer unless I unconnect and reconnect the molex till it fires up then it runs perfectly. Now I did go over board on fans, rgb etc.. so many molex are connected and all are used and I have a evga 650 gold. Cpu ryzen 3600 with a rajintec 360 aio ( I like there rgb and price). My question is it the pump or my psu is not beefy enough.? Nothing else hickups and the comp is stable as long as the pump turns on (gpu obviously will throttle and shut off otherwise) and the pump stays on once it fires up no issue there.

without knowing more about the pump I can't really help. Do you know what brand pump it is?

When you connect the pump does it make any noise at all or vibrate or does it do absolutely nothing until you play with the molex connector? If the former then chances are there is an issue with air getting in the pump which is making it airlock until you cycle enough to get the air out. It could also just me an issue with the pump motor. If the latter is the issue then it is more than likely the pump or maybe even a short in one of the molex wires.

Either way you will need to do some trial and error to see what the problem is. If you do decide to go with a new pump make sure to get something proven and tested like a d5.

it's a ANTILA D5 RBW PUMP & RESERVOIR. it sometimes makes a little noice and sometimes doesn't on boot and sometimes it just fires up. Usually I got to unconnect reconnect till it fires up.
