boot drive

I’m building a new PC and bought a 1tb ssd that I plan on using for my games and information, would it be smart to use the same ssd as a boot drive or would it be smarter to buy a 128gb or 256gb one for my boot drive?

Thank you, I just thought that my windows and other things on the same drive might mess smth up or smth, would the money be better spent on a hard drive instead to store games and raw footage?

Yes. Something like a 2TB Compute drive would be a great substitute
