Is the corsair Rmx white edition a repaint of the 2015 or 2018 Rmx?

The one with the "normal cables", which is what you linked, is the "2018" version of the RMx.

 

The one with the individually sleeved cables is the previous RMx.

 

Why does it matter what version of the RMx it is?

Thank you, I was just thinking, well if I'm going to buy one might as well buy the newer model.
